In 2005 New Pitching Mound,
LLC sold 14 new pitching mounds to West University Little League in
Houston Texas. These pitching mounds have been used continuously by
West University Little League since that date.
In 2009:
West University’s 10
year old American League All Stars were runners-up in the
State of Texas East Little League Championship.
Many players from prior
West University LL teams joined the Kyle Chapman Pony League,
and won the 2009 Pony-13 League World Series in Chino, California,
defeating El Cajon, California; Channahon, Illinois; Bayamon
(Riverview), Puerto Rico; Bergen Beach, New York; and Mililani,
Hawaii in the final Championship game.
Additionally in 2009, the Senior
team from West University Little League won the Senior Division
World Series Championship in Bangor, Maine; defeating Italy, Aruba,
Wisconsin, Philippines, and Northern California in the final Championship
game.
